Hydrangeas in July

I love weddings! 

Yesterday was the most gorgeous July day for Kerry and Ted's wedding.  Their 3-tier Wedding cake was inspired from a magazine clipping that Kerry fell in love with and together we designed her one of a kind cake.  The top tier was a zesty Lemon cake with Raspberry filling, the middle tier an Amaretto Almond cake and the bottom tier was White and Chocolate layers with Truffle fillings.  Delicious!  The Groom's cake was Mint Chocolate.
        

Fresh hydrangeas added flashes of color to an ivory frosting.  Clean and classy was the theme for this cake, so tone-on-tone piping and sugar gems added.  A bouquet of left over hydrangeas were added to the table for a little whimsy.
